[Letter, 18]99 Feb 14, the Temple, Broad and Berks Sts., Philadelphia [to] Frank [A. Hitze, Philadelphia?] / Russell H. Conwell.

Summary: Conwell encourages Hitze to join the church, because, as he says, "Gods [sic] asks you to be a brave upright man," God "has organized the church to be a help to you," and it will be easier "to live the life you really wish to live." An accompanying note reads: "When Frank A. Hitze came out of Girard College in the fall of 1898, he joined the Baptist Temple in Philadelphia, under the preaching of Russell H. Conwell." (Actually it was later, in 1900.).
